Nanushka: Casual and Chic

Oh Nanushka!  We love this designer from Budapest!  Her pieces are a perfect mixture of casual and chic--neutral colors, lusciously soft cottons, and edgy cuts.  We pulled a few selections from her Fall 2010 look book of items we have in stock at Gramercy:

We love how effortless these are!  They remind us of the Dries Van Noden Fall 2010 show in Paris--pairing monochrome sweatshirt-like tops with colorful prints and upscale silks.  It's a perfect combination of high-low that is so in right now!

We played around with this inspiration with our Nanushka wraps and vests to evoke a similar feel.  Kitty paired the camel wrap with a gold medallion necklace by Kenneth Jay Lane, and the beige vest with a printed silk Koch tunic top.  These outfits mix fashion-forward with informal, and the result is so much fun--you will feel like you walked straight off the runway!

Love how the wrap looks from the back!
