New from Tibi!

It's one of our favorite days ever when the UPS man delivers a huge box of new Tibi items!  This past week, we received an amazing assortment of shimmery and sparkley tops, dresses, and skirts.  All of these items are perfect for so many of the festivities that come this time of the year.  Wear all of them to cocktail parties, bar mitzvahs, dinners on the town, and openings for some sophisticated shine.

This silk top is draped and features a rhinestone accent on the shoulder.  We love the feel of it and that wonderful color--so chic and fun!  Also that bloom skirt is AMAZING!!  It has layered rosette details and will make every outfit so fabulous!  Pair it with tights and some great suede wedges for an ultimate go-to look for every special occasion!

This dark violet top is magic under theatre lights!  The sequins are sophisticated, and we love the v-back.  Pair it with a black pencil skirt for an event, or even match it with black pants and a blazer for day wear!

We really love the cutouts and sequin and bead detail on this silk top.  The silver beading shines against the cool slate color, and it hangs amazingly.  So cute!!

ADAM + Sweaters = Perfection

Really, can Adam Lippes do any wrong?  Especially when it comes to sweaters (here are a few recent faves), it seems he has the magic touch for balancing warmth, comfort, and stylishness.  We just got this oversized chunky knit from him in stock, and we are completely IN LOVE!  The tutleneck can be buttoned on, as pictured, or left off for just a cute crewneck with button accents around the collar.  So versatile!  It's surprisingly light to wear, but amazingly warm and soft.  

Basically, I just want to hibernate in this until March...

No words, just...wow!!

Kitty paired this Parker jacket with a metallic Kenneth Jay Lane necklace and a Tibi top.  This little number is the spotlight of the party!  Or maybe it's just the entire party!!

New Jewelry Arrivals

The rainy skies might be making these last few days of September a little gloomy, but there's no reason not to add sparkle to your day with your wardrobe!  Gramercy Boutique has been receiving amazing new jewelry items from some of our favorite designers like Miguel Ases, CC Skye, and Kenneth Jay Lane.  They brighten up any outfit, and can be worn formally or casually.  We absolutely love the beadwork and intricacy of these--it's just like wearing a piece of art! 

Below are some close-up pictures of Miguel Ases earrrings.  He is a favorite designer of celebrities and fashion editors alike, and we can certainly see why!

Here is a new pair of earrings by Kenneth Jay Lane.  We love how fun these are!

Below are two pairs of crystal pyramid stud earrings by CC Skye, in silver and gold.  They are gorgeous simple statements.  Classic!

Finally, we have an amazing assortment of rings and necklaces by Kenneth Jay Lane.  We love the sparkle and fun details, like the snakeskin geometrical shaped items or the adorable little starfish!  We also abosuletly love his resin necklaces, pictured below in orange and cream.  Amazing!

Minnie Mortimer tops have arrived!

It's truly fall in Pennsylvania right now, and according to the weather reports, it's going to stick around for a while!  That means it's time to fully integrate long sleeves and cardigans into your daily wardrobe.  Thank goodness we've got these amazing staples from Minnie Mortimer in stock now!

Minnie Mortimer is one of our favorite designers for her classic style.  Fresh in the field, she  released her first complete collection in the Fall of 2009. She writes, “I grew up going to all girl private schools in Manhattan and we always had these very cute uniforms but you’d only have so much sway over how to “customize” them.  And when I started designing I found myself referencing those roots.”  All her clothes are made in Los Angeles and sold in exclusive boutiques around the world.

We pulled some of her amazing pocketed long sleeve tops for some quick pictures.  They come in grey, navy, cream, and a light blue silk blouse.  Each has a distinctive double-pocket front and a fun red label.  They are closet necessities to pair with skinny jeans, leggings, a skirt, and some boots or patent leather ballet flats!   They feel amazing on and will keep you warm through these next few chilly months!

Time for fall with Tibi

The weather we have been having lately on the Main Line has been so temperamental!  One day it seems to be crisp and chilly and we're sipping hot cocoa, and the next it is hot and sunny and we're pumping the air conditioning!  But the odd transition weather doesn't get in the way of obsessing over all the amazing cool-weather clothes we are getting at Gramercy--especially when it comes to coats!  Even with the warm/cool weather, we are definitely still stocking up on what we will need later!  

We love this simple and elegant charcoal grey coat from Tibi.  Kitty paired it with a simple turquoise linen scarf from Love Quotes.  We love the ruffles around the collar and front pockets, and simple metal clasp.  It's a perfect every day coat that pairs well with everything!

Look of the Week: Jodi Arnold

For this week's look of the week, Kitty picked this cashmere Jodi Arnold sweater off the rack and paired it with some dark skinny J Brand Jeans.   Jodi Arnold's fall line is fascinating!  Her inspiration in designing her fall collection was Papunya Aboriginal art.  She writes on her website: "Papunya art is fascinating--its forms and lines and pointelle styles are distinctively modern and echo Abstractionism, yet come from people who were forced into isolation...I imagined a Papunya elder dragging his fingers through the sand, and how each generation builds upon its cultural narrative by adding distinctively modern interpretation." 

We can definitely imagine these styles coming from that inspiration.  The embellishments have an artful and organic style.  This sweater can be worn casually over a blouse and transition perfectly from day to evening.  Dreamy!

Kenneth Jay Lane, we love you!

We adore Kenneth Jay Lane and all his new amazing creations in stock now at Gramercy!  On the blog this week, we have featured his rings and necklaces, and today we are showing off some of his amazing earrings.  We love these stunning pieces for their intricate beadwork and worldly aesthetic.  They make an amazing statement!

Kenneth Jay Lane Continues to Amaze...

We just love love love Kenneth Jay Lane and his amazing style when it comes to designing jewelry.  He is a genius, and among his former clientele are Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, Elizabeth Taylor, Diana Vreeland, Audrey Hepburn, and the Duchess of Windsor.  His designs are as collectable as precious gems, with vintage items selling at Christie's, Sotheby's, and Doyle New York auction houses!  We have been lucky enough to receive a number of incredible items from his current Fall collection, including necklaces, rings, and earrings.  Below, we are exited to show you some of the new necklaces we've got in stock!

These electroplated 22 karat gold necklaces feature oversize resin beads painted with gold leaf.  They are amazing over a simple cashmere top or paired with a great classic cut dress!  The longer one works perfectly over anything, like a white top and some J Brand skinny jeans!  Pair it with a great leather bag for daytime, or a satin clutch for going out at night!

This necklace is the "Chain of Fools".  It features an orange-colored interlocking resin chain and gold extender chain and clasp.  So bold, but so simple at the same time.  We love it!

We will be showcasing some of our amazing recent jewelry arrivals on the blog this week!  Though we absolutely love fall fashion, the neutrals and dark colors can sometimes make an outfit feel a little blah.  Luckily, there's Kenneth Jay Lane to the rescue!  His jewelry is always stunning, and is the extra oomph to take any outfit far away from the bland zone.  Below are two fantastic new rings from his fall collection:
